CLEMSON FARMERS’ MARKET REOPENS AT NEW LOCATION ON FRIDAY, JUNE 3, 2011, 3:30-6:30 P.M. |
The City of Clemson Farmers’ Market begins its second season on June 3, 2011 and will run through November 18, 2011, every Friday from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m., rain or shine. The market continues to promote locally grown food and handmade arts and crafts.
This year the market has moved to Patrick Square on the corner of Issaqueena Trail and Chapman Hill Road in Clemson (across from Camelot neighborhood). Click here for directions.
We are anticipating a great season with returning vendors and also welcoming new growers. The following list represents our current participants and several more will be added as the season progresses:
· Artisan Breads, Greer – Baguette French bread, cinnamon buns, madeleines, pain au chocolat, olive bread, raisin scones, rosemary focaccia. (New)
· Billy’s Goat Hill, Westminster – Goat meat, eggs, fruits, culinary herbs, honey. (New)
· C & D Farms, Anderson – Vegetables, herbs, and fruits (Returning)
· Clemson Student Organic Farm, Clemson – Vegetables and fruits. (New)

· Longbranch Farm, Fair Play – Vegetables, fruits, plants, eggs and poultry (Returning)
