Last week the park was visited by an officer from SFPD who was
responding to a number of noise complaints brought on by excessive
barking.

As stated in the Park Rules posted at the gate, all owners and walkers
are required to prevent excessive barking.

Since the installation of the gate, park usage has increased
dramatically. While it is understood that dogs bark and this is a dog
play area we must be responsible park users and courteous neighbors
and keep barking at a minimum particularly in the early morning hours
and on the weekends.

It seems that a good portion of the barking occurs at the gate while
dogs are entering and leaving the park. PLEASE PRACTICE GOOD GATE
ETTIQUITTE AND GIVE EACH PERSON SPACE AT THE “PEN” AREA WHILE ENTERING
AND LEAVING THE PARK.

ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED IN AND OUT OF THE PARK TO PREVENT CONFLICT
AND EXCESSIVE BARKING AT THE GATE.

We want to be good neighbors and stewards of this amazing open space
and hope you understand and adhere to the Park Rules.

Best,
