Park not set to close until March

Hi Bill,

So sorry for the delay. I’d meant to send you a message letting you know that I needed to wait until DPW folks were back in order to get a good estimate on timing. I was able to check in with them today and it looks to me that this is the schedule:

 

-          1/18/13 – 100% drawings complete

-          1/22/13—Begin JOC contract process

-          3/4/13 – Contractor begins work, park closed

-          TBD – Dog Park Re-Opening

 

I can’t imagine the work will take more than 3 months but we can decide how long we’d like to keep the park closed for the turf establishment. I was thinking it might make sense to keep the park closed June-September and maybe have a soft opening a week or two before Dogtoberfest 2013. I’m happy to think through that some more first.
