What a great and simple opportunity this is to share thoughts about
worship. Our congregation is extremely traditional and fairly locked
into that form. We still only offer one form of worship, though we
have had countless discussions about incorporating another service.
There is a group currently brainstorming about how we might put
together a more contemporary service, with a focus on more
contemporary music. What advice do other churches have who have been
through this sort of addition? I'm extremely interested in what
Traverse City 1st Pres is doing with its Nexus service. David Ramage
is attempting to really get outside the box with that effort and I'd
like to support that effort, experience that form of worship, and
learn from it.

I hope we get a taste of it at this month's presbytery meeting!
If not, I'll be with you trying to find this gentleman and ask him
some questions!
Grace and Peace

p.s. one of the best experiences I've had in service at FPC:
Wednesday's in Lent, little band, hymns old and new. Different
energy, different kinds of words to sing to God, fresh fresh fresh!
