Joining the group

We will be looking forward to the ideas that are generated on this
page. To begin the sharing process, I will note that this week with
the gospel lectionary passage centering on Emmaus and the recognition
of Christ in the breaking of the bread, we will be distributing larger
than the normal bite size cubes that we often use. As folks take the
bread, they will be invited to hold it until all are served, then
break it in two and share it with someone else nearby - both giving
and receiving from one another - noting where do they see Christ in
the gathering of our community of faith.

I'm joining the group too, with real interest in seeing what happens.
We're mostly on the lectionary at FPC/Escanaba, and it is warming to
know that you all too will be on the walk with Jesus to Emmaus. Peace
