recently received the 4k stick and have no problems with all my streaming channels except for Netflix. Netflix will not load properly and constantly gives UI-800-02 error code. Tried deleting app, reinstalling, factory reset, all other options, nothing works. Netflix works fine on my other roku devices and smart tv's. roku said they would call me back, but no response. anyone else find a solution for this ?

i constantly get error UI-800-02 when i try to start Netflix on my Roku 4k streaming stick. No issues with it running on older roku devices that i have on other televisions. all applications work just fine, except Netflix. Called Samsung, they said it was Netflix, so called them. Netflix said it was Roku and when i called Roku they said that they needed to investigate and would get back to me within 24 hours. Unfortunately no one got back to me.

I've tried that multiple times and Roku support has had me perform perform factory reset, delete the application, reinstall application, turn everything off turn everything back on multiple times, Netflix still shows the same error and support had me provide the internal error codes. They indicated they would respond within 24 hours, but that time has come ne and gone with no resolution or contact.

We appreciate the time and effort you've put into resolving this Netflix issue. Please note that since this issue is specific to Netflix, we suggest contacting their customer support team, Netflix ContactUS, for further assistance and clarification. It's important to know that the majority of content on the Roku platform is provided and managed independently by the streaming channels' providers.

I contacted netflix, who told me to call Roku as the problem only occurs on the Roku ultra 4k stick. I provided the error codes to Roku support, but no one has followed up. Passing the buck back to Netflix doesn't help. I called Netflix who had me call samsung, samsung had me call roku, initially, roku had me call netflix who in turn told me to call roku. roku finally admitted there was a problem with the roku ultra 4k stick but no one is taking 'ownership' of the problem to get it resolved.

Please get someone in roku technical team to review the information provided to roku support and of course, if they need more data, i would be happy to share the entire page that shows all the error data on the roku device.

as a side note, others have had to uninstall/reinstall, or reset their roku device to get it to work with netflix, but none of their resolutions work for me. the fact that they experienced the same errors and after doing the above got their device to work properly demonstrates that the problem is with roku not netflix.

Every time I visit apple.com or netflix.com it says that the connection is not private and doesn't allow me to connect to it. I opened port 443 on my modem (as well as ports 8080 and 2222) so I would be able to ssh to my Raspberry Pi at home from the outside (I also use it to test my website on port 8080).

The security risks of opening ports are really about the risks of the services running on those ports. It is possible that someone discovered your test website and pwned your computer because your site had weaknesses (assuming that this is the same computer that you are seeing the error).

I just erased my cookies, deleted all my cache, uninstalled and reinstalled Orion, didn't import anything, but when I signed into Netflix with comptibility mode on, it still gave me an error message, so now I'm confused about why it won't work

I might have spoke too quickly - the error seems to be a bit hit & Miss so i can watch things like 'Young Sheldon' with no issues but things like 'The Crown' refuse to play at all and tried a few films at random and they seem to play from the start put then stop if you try to skip ahead?

With the same settings applied:
Netflix does not work for the most part
Disney Plus works and maintains the lock
Paramount Plus works and maintains the lock, but it paused the ad at the start and you have to manually play it. This happened for shows and movies.
If these two work, then, so most other probably will too, which makes me think it's got something to do with the lock and the site protection in compatibility mode

Netflix was not able to stream as of now with the latest update. Version 0.99.122-beta (WebKit 615.1.11.7) also, as mentioned by Jai-jdk the Netflix website does not have the lock. It has a lock and a line on it. Maybe that's something?

dragon900x Netflix works for me and some users. Some users report it doesn't. Why is that the case is not clear. Error message netflix throws is not useful at all. So until we know what is the problem and why it happens there is nothing we can do.

Vlad It looks like the connection to netflix is insecure or missing a certificate as mentioned by others but shows as secure and has a certificate provided on other browsers. May this have something to do with this? Considering Netflix have implemented DRM and may reject browsers with insecure connections. Just a theory

AES-CBC and AES-CTR do not provide authentication by default, and implementing it manually can result in minor, but serious mistakes. We recommended using authenticated encryption like AES-GCM to protect against chosen-ciphertext attacks.

I've been streaming through my Xbox 360, so I don't believe there's a problem with my Netflix subscription or their service. Netflix's web site is not very helpful with this problem. I deleted all of the Netflix updates on my LG Revo and re-downloaded them (the phone will not let me completely remove Netflix since it came pre-installed). I rebooted and even removed the phone's battery to let the cache completely clear. I've been getting this error message for two days now.

I am having the same issue. It started 8/25. I can view about 30 minutes or so of recently watched videos, but nothing else. Extremely frustrating. For what I paid for my Revolution, and for what I pay for service, I expect this all to work as it should.

Hi guys. The Microsoft Edge is my favorite browser of all times, really, but not when I try to watch netflix or other video streaming services, it always breaks, I have no ideia what to do anymore. Always when I try to play something there's an error and then I need to reload over and over again, sometimes even when I just play the video it stop working when I try to play again. Help me to keep using this best browser that I've ever seen.

I've ever tried to disable hardware acceleration, enable DRM content, install Microsoft Silverlight and a lot of other things, but I didn't get to watch so far without an error I keep receiving these error codes: D7356-7701 and others related. Is there's still something that can be done to really fix theses erros or I just have to be patient and wait for news versions of the browser?

Everything else works fine, and without issue, only Netflix giving him grief. I tested on my laptop on the WiFi -- no dice. The site loads, but none of the images do, and sometimes you can get a video to start, but it always craps out pretty quickly.

I hooked up wired to his Orbi -- same thing. I hooked up straight to his modem, and it worked fine, everything loaded as expected. What's even weirder though, is I tried DMZ'ing one of his Fire sticks, and it still doesn't work. The "Armor" or whatever it's called security is disabled. I tried several different DNS options, but none of them made a difference going through the router.

Guest network is diabled, checking the access control and all devices are set to allowed. uPnP is on, and again, literally everything else internet related works fine. (Firesticks stream other video just fine, PS4's work and can play online, Websites load normally, etc.)

I'm just at a total loss. I thought it could be some weird IPv6 issue but again, that reports as disabled in the only IPV6 menu I could find. He's on the latest firmware (AFAIK -- it ends in .16 and looked to be the same as the most current one on the Netgear site, up since April).

Anybody have any ideas? I'm at a complete and utter loss for ideas. I even talked to my boss, because I know he's set up a few of these things, and he said only thing he's ever had an issue with was getting Satellite's recognized. Again, I was operating 10 ft. from the main Orbi router, and tried on wireless, wired, and straight from modem. Only worked from the modem, although after I started a Netflix show on the modem, I unplugged my wired connection to it, reverted to WiFi, and it was able to continue playing -- apparently without issue.

Again, I just have no clue what the issue could be. It smells like DNS, but the DNS settings that worked straight from the modem are what's currently the setting on the router for DHCP (from WOW!), and I also tried adding in ye old 8.8.8.8 and that made no differnce.

Like I said (sorry if I wasn't clear enough) -- I tried on my laptop as well. Same thing, wouldn't load images -- literally shows all the links, and text, etc, but just no images. The top of the main page displays preview video but no other thumbnails show up. More importantly, works when I go around the router (straight to modem) -- so the problem is with the Orbi one way or another.

Unfortunately I've very much already seen the link you shared -- for fire sticks, it just suggests "make sure you're connected to the internet" and "restart your home network" (tragically laughable on both unfotunately).

Very confusing. Also tried uninstalling/reinstalling Netflix on the firestick (even though symptoms are exhibited on totally different types of devices, e.g. my laptop), clearing data, clearing cache, etc.
