The idea of a helper robot has been around for decades, but it has already begun to gain more real-world traction, especially in countries such as Japan where an aging population could cause shortages in support staff.

And (in my case) there are about 10 pages (reports) with about 50 helpers as small nice building blocks (as in example above, though they might be a bit bigger). And they are really easy to write and to use and to change parameters etc.

Well, creating about 500 tiny classes and corresponding templates and passing parameters through properties doesn't sound right at all. Also using tag helpers without templates requires sticking string manually together.

Alternatively if you are simply calling a method passing some parameters and spitting out output you could create own helper class with a static methods but you'll have to concatenate the output string instead of using Razor to mix html with code.

First, I have always disliked the builtin Evernote helper for MacOS and never understood why they didn't have a menu bar app similar to what FastEver provides for iOS. However, it has gotten worse with v10 and I am wondering if anyone has any suggested third party alternatives... at least until they consider:

1) Allow pasting into the scratchpad.... often I grab a screenshot (Cmd+Ctr+Shift+4) and used to be able to paste that image into the Evernote helper to create a note.... now it doesn't accept screenshots. Yes, I can use the screengrab tool within the Helper, but that adds the note separate from any text I want to add, which I then need to combine in Evernote... so it isn't much help.

2) Please PLEASE let me set a title or at least use the first line of the scratchpad note as the title. I was not a fan of the legacy helper, which only displayed the first few words (followed by...) and always wished it would give me a full title... but now it just indicates "Note - Jan, 13, 7:14am".... that is not useful at all. (a) I know it is a note since it is in Evernote, (b) the create time is displayed right there in Evernote. When I have a busy day dumping a lot of thoughts into the inbox, it is frustrating that I can't skim through the inbox later to find the ones on specific topics when I am processing messages.

It seems that a number of third party apps provide these features through iOS using the API to add the info to your Evernote, but I haven't seen any options for MacOS. It seems that even a Chrome or web-based tool would work.... anyone have any solutions?

IMHO the prior version sucked as well.... it is better than the current version, but was also unnecessarily limited. Provide a field for title, note body, tags, notebook and reminders... then it will be perfect.

Yes, the quick note in the new update is TERRIBLE and gives me a lot of stress. The notation and the fact that I have to manually close the 'oke, got it' window in Mac. Very annoying and goes completely against what Evernote is supposed to do: make our life easier. Please, make it so no additional button needs to be clicked and the title is the same as the note.

10.7.6-mac-ddl-public quick-note is terrible in comparison with previous versions.

Previously, within a single note I was able to take multiple screenshots and annotate them using the quicknote function. BUT no longer.

There are some bugs here and there that pop up every once in a while, sometimes causing stuttering or other performance issues. They do occasionally get fixed until another one inevitably comes along. It is better than most other laptop manufacturers have, but it isn't exactly perfect either. A lot of people use G-Helper instead, which is definitely more comfortable to use. It also includes the functionality of the MyASUS app, meaning you can remove two apps and use one instead.

Have a look at the Task Manager and tell me, have you ever seen a manufacturer clutter up RAM like that? Apart from this lupanar, Armory Crate causes a lot of problems, and the worst thing is that there is basically no alternative to it. GHelper, meanwhile, is not a solution, as it greatly reduces CPU performance and makes writes to the system registry.

Despite the number of subredditers who continue to refer others to G-Helper, they are not privy to the caveats associated. First and foremost, potential hardware damage is possible due to its power management, G-Helper does not know the exact speifications of our gaming notebooks and their power modes - such as Turbo Mode, etc. As such, it could either provide insufficient power, or overload the CPU and GPU which can cause hardware damage over time. On top of that, maximum performance and hardware security could be compromised. While some people welcome the simplicity of the solution, users who recommend this software should make others aware of the potential dangers and install at their own risk.

That is Clearly stated on Git. If people do not read the info that's their fault. Maybe if asus didnt bloat the crap out of their software *cough *cough and opened the bios on machines other people paid for. Then maybe the company would do better instead of going by the wayside. Only so much Branding (Elite wallpaper) people will take before they walk away.

Animated startup logo (hooray for asus)This is awkward when using a high end laptop for business

DDR5 Voltage Control: Allows you to adjust your RAM's voltage level. Consult your kit's rated specs, as pumping too much voltage can kill your memory.
SB/HT Voltage Control: Voltage settings for the Southbridge and HyperTransport.
NB/PCIe/PLL Voltage Control: Voltage settings for the chipsets' power regulation circuits all inconveniently bundled together.
CPU PLL Voltage Control: Determines the voltage applied to the CPU's internal clock generators. Overvolting this setting is a quick way to send your processor to the grave.
DDR VTT Voltage Control: Determines the termination voltage for your system's RAM. Raising the VTT increases the current flow and can help increase stability.
NB Voltage Control: Voltage settings for the Northbridge chipset.
CPU NB VID Control: Voltage settings for the memory controller on the CPU. This can help with stability when overclocking.
CPU Voltage Control: Voltage settings for the processor.
Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.): Short for eXtreme Memory Profile, X.M.P.-compatible RAM contain additional, pre-programmed settings tuned for both performance and overclocking.
System Memory Multiplier:
DRAM Timing Selectable: You may see the letters SPD in this section. This stands for Serial Presence Detect and refers to the information programmed into your memory modules by the manufacturer, which tells the BIOS what latencies and voltage to use at any given clockspeed to ensure compatibility. If left on Auto, your RAM will run at its pre-programmed SPD settings when overclocking. Otherwise, you can change this to Manual (or disabled) to and set your own latency timings.
Channel A/B/C Timing Settings: Refers to your RAM's timings or latencies, separated by memory channel.
and many many more setting you the owner of this laptop are LOCKED OUT by asus. Think I will go back to MSI after I burn this unit up. SK crap Speaking of SK crap iI ran a SK bench just to show whats possible with things UNLOCKED

This was sooo good! Childhood nostalgia but way better tasting and for you. I used Goodles and added chopped spinach with the cheese at the end to add an extra boost of nutrients. I used heaping teaspoons for the seasonings and added an extra tablespoon of ketchup. It turned out amazing! So filling and delicious.

I made this for my family of 4, and it made plenty of food! I did use others suggestion of doubling the spices in the recipe. I felt like it was seasoned perfectly. I used smoked paprika instead of regular, and it gave it a little extra flavor.

I did have to add 1/2c more milk while boiling as most of the liquid was gone. I did substitute the regular pasta for 12oz of gluten free penne. While it was cheesy, and very good, i think using Velveeta would give it more of the cheesy taste you get with boxed hamburger helper.

I made this for dinner last night and it was delicious! I doubled the spices and added a little cajun seasoning for a little more spice. Even my husband liked it! Next time I will double it and leave some chunks of zucchini as well as grating some.

This document demonstrates working with Forms and the HTML elements commonly used on a Form. The HTML Form element provides the primary mechanism web apps use to post back data to the server. Most of this document describes Tag Helpers and how they can help you productively create robust HTML forms. We recommend you read Introduction to Tag Helpers before you read this document.

In many cases, HTML Helpers provide an alternative approach to a specific Tag Helper, but it's important to recognize that Tag Helpers don't replace HTML Helpers and there's not a Tag Helper for each HTML Helper. When an HTML Helper alternative exists, it's mentioned.

The MVC runtime generates the action attribute value from the Form Tag Helper attributes asp-controller and asp-action. The Form Tag Helper also generates a hidden Request Verification Token to prevent cross-site request forgery (when used with the [ValidateAntiForgeryToken] attribute in the HTTP Post action method). Protecting a pure HTML Form from cross-site request forgery is difficult, the Form Tag Helper provides this service for you.
