JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision performs accounting clerical duties which require knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Ability to process grant financial reports, coordinate grant sub-recipient expenditures and reimbursements. Ability to maintain grant spreadsheets, files, and grant records management by uploading to GMS.
2. Ability to process journal voucher entries and reconcile various funds and accounts. Ability to provide timely and accurate reporting of financial activities.
3. Ability to reconcile, reimburse, and provide petty cash advances.
4. Ability to assist in the management of various administrative functions, such as payroll, office operations and records management.
5. Responsible for back-up responsibilities of the Payroll Coordinator position.
Qualifying Education and Minimum Qualifications
Some college with coursework in Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field, plus two years experience in administrative support capacity or any combination of education or experience. Pre-employment testing includes: Criminal Background, Physical, and Credit Evaluation.
