Position Purpose

Applies entry and intermediate-level engineering principles and practices in planning, designing, preparing and testing various construction, traffic, communication, and maintenance projects to develop or maintain the public infrastructure of the City of Dallas. 

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering from program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology (EAC/ABET) OR
• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering technology from a program accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (TAC/ABET) OR
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in mathematical, physical, or engineering science approved by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers (TBPE) (written approval from the TBPE must accompany application.)
