Purpose Statement

The job of the Youth Director was established for the purpose of ensuring community engagement and feedback in Ntarupt the System for Optimal Adolescent Health - a systematic approach to improving optimal health, reducing unintended teen pregnancy and STI rates among adolescents in both Dallas and Tarrant County.

Experience/ Qualifications:

• Graduate or current senior student of a Dallas Can Academy or Uplift Education Secondary school

• Previous or current leadership experience

• Proficient use of social media platforms: Instagram™, Snapchat™, TikTok™ and others

• Strong organizational skills and follow-up

• Skillful communicator

• Experience with use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Other Information

• Part time position of no more than 20 hours per week

• Rate $18 / hour

• One year position with potential for two year extension, contingent on continued funding the Office of Population Affairs, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
