Description

The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is searching for cause-driven individuals to oversee the day-to-day operations of afterschool preschool programs. The main objective for this role is to provide a safe environment while supervising and managing the well-being of a group of children you are placed in charge of. 

Position Hours: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years of age with High School diploma or equivalent.  
• Must complete Safety Series Training 30 days from hire which includes but is not limited to First-Aid/CPR, Sexual Harassment, Child Abuse Awareness, and New Staff Orientation.
• Visual and auditory awareness as well as a pattern of circulating among the children. Must be able to lift and carry at least 30 lbs. as well as be capable of standing for long periods of time and adjusting from sitting to standing with ease.
• Ability to manage multiple situations effectively.
• Must be able comply with all state, federal and YMCA standards.
• Must have reliable transportation
