JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the development and management of summer activities for AIDS Services of Dallas' youth. Under the direct supervision of the Residential Coordinator, the Children's Activities Coordinator is to plan, coordinate, implement, and facilitate a summer program that helps build self-esteem, social skills, and provides hands-on learning experiences.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A current college student with a child care or child development background. An education major or studies in a related field is also acceptable. The person should have the ability to relate and interact with children of varying ages and backgrounds, and have experience working with at-risk children. The person should have experience planning and providing activities with the ability to lead, supervise, and direct children.
ELIGIBILITY
All applicants must have completed their freshman year of college and be returning as a full-time student in the fall of 2021.
