The Dallas Morning News offers reporting internships in at our Spanish-language publication, Al Día. Applicants for Al Día must be fluent in speaking and writing Spanish.
Reporters should send at most eight newspaper clips or story links. Clips may be reduced, but must be legible.
The applicant’s primary clips or links should focus on the specific position the applicant desires, but clips or links showing a variety of reporting and writing ability are acceptable.
A cover letter and résumé with references are required with all applications. Application materials will not be returned, and applicants should not expect an explanation of why their application was accepted or rejected.
Requirements
Applicants must be enrolled in college and working toward a degree (associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate) or they may have graduated within six months prior to the internship start date.
Must be fluent in speaking and writing Spanish.
Previous daily newspaper experience is requested.
