Below are lyrics with chord numbers to help us sing and play along.  Each chord number like this 0 is for 2 beats from the moment indicated by its position in the lyrics.

Chord numbers like this 08 are again for 2 beats but the 7 notes in the chord are replaced by notes at the other number, in this example 8.  This is done by using the little and ring finger to hold the third and fifth strings down, in this example one fret up from the barre as shown above.  You don't have to do this when starting but if you wish to it is explained in detail below the lyrics.

Chord 2 is minor so either don't play the top (thinnest) string which is best to start with or fret the top and second strings 3 frets up from the barre or even barre 3 frets up and fret the third and fifth strings two more frets up for full minor chord voicings.
