What are your thoughts of using nerve with live? What do you like and dislike about it? I really like what this plug in is capable of. But I've only been using Live 3 months and nerve forces me into a different workflow. I have hardly ever messed around in arrangement view and it seems nerve can only be integrated into arrangement view for the most part. Can anyone share their workflow and give me any advice? Also, is there a way to nest nerve into a drum rack or instrument rack so that I can map the 16 pads into my push 1 seamlessly? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The MIDI implementation isn't great. You can change the CC assignments by editing the nerve.cfg file in a text editor, or if your DAW supports it, map MIDI to automatable parameters. It would be great to have a standard MIDI Learn button on the GUI itself, though.
