Engineers Today, Leaders Tomorrow

INVITATION TO APPLY TO THE ANNUAL ENGINEERING LEADERSHIP RETREAT 2012 (SPRING)

Dear Penn Engineers,

The third annual Leadership Retreat, Engineers Today, Leaders Tomorrow, is to be held on 9:00AM -2:00
PM, Saturday, April 21st, 2012 by the Engineering Student Activities Council (ESAC). This
exclusive event will bring together leaders from different engineering disciplines and class years in
the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS).

The retreat is aimed at 30 outstanding SEAS students. The retreat will be held at Penn Park and will consist of outdoor team-building activities organized by leadership training professionals from The Adventure Network program. Through these, you will gain a better understanding of leadership and become a more effective leader.
It is our distinct pleasure to invite you to apply to this year?s leadership retreat.

Please download the short application attachment and email to dand...@seas.upenn.edu by Midnight, March 31st.

Our application is a competitive process. If you are successful, you will join 29 others
on a fully sponsored trip to Penn Park to go through a leadership training program
specially tailored for this retreat. You will be expected to commit yourself to the program on that
day. Food will be provided. You will also get a free participant t-shirt. At the end of the retreat, you
will receive a Certificate of Achievement for your participation in this retreat.
