Wharton Business Plan Competition 2012: deadline to apply for Phase 2 is January 27, 2012 2 PM EST

The WBPC is a comprehensive, 7-month platform to help entrepreneurs and their teams launch their new business ideas. The WBPC is structured in four phases to help teams develop their plans in both a collaborative and competitive environment. 

• Phase I is a non-competitive, optional phase that allows participants to receive feedback on a variety of ideas.  Phase I deadline is Friday, November 11, 2011 @2p.m. (EST).
• Phase II is the first competitive phase of the competition. The top 25 teams advance to the next phase.  Phase II deadline is Friday, January 27, 2012 @2p.m. (EST).
• Phase III is the semi-finals stage of the competition.  The top 25 teams submit a full business plan, present a brief presentation to a panel of judges and compete against other submissions in their industry area. Eight competitors advance to the Finals.  Phase III deadline is Friday, March 16, 2012 @2p.m. (EST).
• Phase IV is the Venture Finals stage where the "Great Eight" present live for a chance at myriad cash and in-kind prizes.
