Hello PennDesign Planners -

I'm working on a project for the NYC Department of Education, and
wondering if anyone has suggestions off the top of their heads for
sites/databases that track the locations of new residential real
estate developments in New York City?

Thanks!

I have one source in my head that may be relevant - HUD keeps monthly records of issued building permits by county (NYC is a county itself): http://socds.huduser.org/permits/ Just keep in mind that not all issued permits have been built.

Hope this is helpful!

Best,

Fiona

I've got two good blogs that could help in compiling data:

Village Confidential also seems to have some good data for at least Manhattan: http://www.villageconfidential.com

I'll keep an eye out for anything else.
