The victims received a message from a compromised Skype account, with the message containing a deceptive VBS script with a file name following the following format: www.skype[.]vbs. The spacing in the file name tricks the user into believing the file is a .PDF document while hiding the real format as www.skype[.]vbs. In this sample we studied, the recipient knew the sender as someone who belonged to a trusted external supplier.
Skype (IPA: [skaɪp], rhymes with type) is a software program created by the Swedish and Danish entrepreneurs Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis. Skype allows users to make telephone calls over the internet to other Skype users free of charge, or to landlines and cell phones for a fee. Additional features include instant messaging, file transfer, short message service, video conferencing and its ability to circumvent firewalls.

I wanted to use skype last year with my high school library book group, but I could not find an author willing to do it. I will use your list for the students to pick out someone whose books that want to read. We were not familiar with the work of many on your list.
