I'm writing to you in my capacity as the Chair of the University of Pretoria Postdoctoral Association (UPPA). Please find attached the April 2019 (First Quarter) Postdoctoral Newsletter.
Just to reiterate a couple of things as indicated in the newsletter: It is our responsibility to ensure that this Association thrives. We will therefore be relying on your suggestions and advice. Our desire is to ensure that this Association continues to be institutionalized for effective functioning. To this end, we advise you to take advantage of the google group: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/up-postdoc-association, and the facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/UPPostdocs/ to share information and opportunities.
We understand that the University is a multi-campus Institution. Logistical difficulties may hinder our attendance at scheduled General Meetings. As a result, the executive team has decided to hold meetings in all the University campuses, either rotationally or jointly. Before that, the team will be visiting each campus to hold familiarization meetings with Postdocs based in that Campus.
