SCM has several dimensions including procurement, planning and operations.

Procurement is clearly transactional between the firm and its partners and should best be addressed by the TCM.
Planning involves decision making and best addressed by the DMM.
Operations is all about making regular processes more efficient and best addressed by the DM.

If you are using the DMM, remember you can explain SCM in 2 dimensions: structured and unstructured decisions.
So this means you can discuss the OPERATIONAL aspects of SCM in terms of how ICT can be used to automate decision making processes.
For unstructured decisions, discuss how SCM allows suppliers to make better decisions using demand data from customers.

Hi sir
May I ask what are the benefits of using the DMM approach to design the SCM?
