The assignment spec says that we should compile to a file called "frag.txt". However, the compiler itself implements a global FILE* variable called outputFile, which is usually set to stdout but can be changed using the -O option. The man file says:

       O   outputFileName

Specify  an  alternative  file to receive ordinary compiler
                   output
(includes compilation  and  execution).  Default  is
                   stdout

Which one of these should we output the compiled file to? The -O specified file or "frag.txt"?

-O specified. For tests, pass frag.txt to that option or just rename the default result file / direct stdout to frag.txt.
