Howdy - Joel responded ealier asking what type of Mac you have (monitor,
amount of RAM, size of Disk), and what type of PC you need. This
information might help us to determine if we are interested. Also, if you
post to the Departmental Computing Group mailing list with some detailed
information you might find someone who is interested in trading. You can
read all about this mailing list and how to join at the Web address:

http://micro.uoregon.edu/deptcomp

There are approximately 200 people on the list, most of them support
professionals at the UO, so it's quite a large audience.

>Dear Departments' Computer Consultants:
> ASUO, the student government, of the Comptroller office is seeking
>for a PC. With the change of FIS system, we aren't able to use Mac
>computers to reconcile on the banner system. We have a Mac, and reqest
>money from ASUO executive to get a new PC. However, the amount of work and
>job that we handle in this office, that one computer is not enough.
> Since we have a Mac, we wonder if any of your department is
>willing to trading a PC computer with us. If you can trade for free, it
>would be great. If not, we are willing to pay some differences.
> If you are interested in helping us out, please call Jennifer, the
>head of comptroller at 346-0620, or you can send me an e-mail. Thank you
>very much.
