Extensions on Mac G3

Dear Help,

I inadvertenly would up with 2 versions of the SAM 4.5.3 extension in my
system file. One is active and the other is disabled? Is it okay to take
the disabled version and put it in the Trash? Same question regarding two
versions of the FindIt extension, one the current version and the other an
older version which is in the Disabled Extensions folder in my System
Folder.
