Hey there all you SGH-ers,
This week we have a jam-packed meeting which wil likely go a little bit long:
-A presentation by Dr. Heaman, a doctor from the UO health center who has worked abroad extensively.
-Final concert planning and sign ups (remember to put up your flyers!)
-Elections!
Dr. Heaman will present first, then elections will follow. You can decide to run for a board position all the way up to the beginning of the election part of the meeting, so if you have any question about board positions, I have attached the position descriptions, and also feel free to ask any of the board members about it. Each candidate will have a minute or two to talk about themselves and why they feel they are qualified, then the group will have a chance to ask questions before the vote. Vote will be by secret ballot.
The group had a great bike ride this weekend! Anyone who hasn't brought in their bike fundraiser money, please do so at this meeting so we can get a final tally and send it to FaceAIDS.
Please bring in money for T-shirts if you signed up for one. If we do not get the money this week we will not have enough time to order and spray paint the shirts before the end of the year.
Today (tuesday) at 7pm in LAW 115 is the Carnegie Council Global Health and Ethics Panel, with presentations by our own Hannah Carr and Alex Goodell, among several esteemed others. I HIGHLY recommend going to this free event.
If you happened to miss the last meeting, the minutes can be found here:

See you all at the meeting this Wednesday! Gerlinger 242 at 7pm just like usual. We will try to start right on time due to the amount of content in this meeting. Don't be late!
