SGH,
Because we have so many other events happening in the next few weeks, we've decided to take a bye week. There will be no general meeting this Thursday Nov. 12. Our general meeting will resume the following Thursday Nov. 19 when we have a speaker from HIV Alliance coming to share his story about living with HIV here in our community. I hope you all can make it to this. I'm sure it will be a powerful event.
Upcoming Events:
1) Tabling at Saturday market
this Saturday Nov 14 from 10am-4pm.
We still need at least two volunteers to make this work. Please contact Jackson Wong @ jack...@uoregon.edu -or- call him @ (503) 313-1975 if you are able to help table at the market. Jackson is coordinating this and our Holiday market tabling. We are still in need of a table & chairs for the event and we need a driver who can help transport the supplies to and from the market. This is a great opportunity to branch out to the community and do some fundraising. I hope you all will consider volunteering for an hour or two.
2) Speaker from HIV Alliance next Thursday meeting @ 7pm, Nov. 19.
