Meeting tomorrow & Face AIDS PUSH DAY!

Hi Students for Global Health,

Janis Weeks, Director of African Studies, neuroscientist and SGH's faculty advisor, will be speaking about the work she does in Africa and her upcoming trip to Zimbabwe at this Thursday's meeting--Nov. 5th @ 7pm, Gerlinger 248. We'll also discuss our upcoming How Do You Wear Your Pin? campaign, World AIDS Day, and tabling at the Holiday/Saturday Markets. Hope to see you there! 

As you may have heard, Face AIDS is participating in the Facebook Giving Challenge and today is our "push" day. Here's the gist: Facebook and donors are giving away $1000 per day to the Facebook cause that can get the most unique donors in any given day. Facebook is also giving away $50,000 to the cause who can get the most overall donors before Nov. 6 with money going to runners up as well.

Here's what to do:

2. Click "Donate"

3. Tell your friends!!!

Your 10 bucks will be matched by donors through Face AIDS nationals making it $20, and we'll have a good shot of winning the $1000 for the day! Last year Face AIDS made over $20,000 from the Giving Challenge--this is an awesome & easy fundraiser.
