Breaking: UNT Democrat Jeff Kline wins Student Body Presidency

Speaks for itself. Jeff Kline, a member of the UNT Democrats for two
years running has been elected as the Student Body President in the re-
vote 56%-44%.

Thank you to everyone who re-voted. It does this organization good to
know that we have helped elect one of our own to the highest position
a student can be elected to at the University of North Texas. We're
also on quite the winning streak, having already helped Dan Barrett
get elected in the 97th state house district in Tarrant County, a 64%
Bush district in the 2004 election.

Congratulations to Jeff, he earned this position. This organization is
proud of him, and hopes to work closely with him to help set a
progressive agenda at the University of North Texas for the 2008-2009
School year.
