to Unsub discuss
Hi all,

I'm interested in learning more about how to fine-tune Unsub's projections of Open Access usage, specifically Green OA.

Under the Scenario Parameters, there is a Fulfillment toggle of “Permit non-peer-reviewed versions” which states:

“For Green OA, allow submitted versions as a type of fulfillment. Submitted versions are papers made available in repositories as preprints or other versions that have not yet been peer reviewed.”

This seems to be narrowly targeted at Green OA defined as preprints. Does this also affect versions in Institutional Repositories? An author-accepted manuscript of an article in an IR would be peer-reviewed, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to keep that mode of fulfillment but also turn off preprints if they are both seen as Green OA.

I would like to be able to keep IRs, but turn off preprints as modes of fulfillment.

Thanks for any advice,
