So far Unsub supports Elsevier, and Wiley and SpringerNature are just around the corner.

The order for adding remaining publishers is in part driven by customer interest.  What publisher would you like to see next?

My list in order of importance follows. Most are our most expensive CPU (cost per use) packages, plus four seemingly good CPU but very expensive packages which will be important to analyze:

1    Taylor & Francis    seemingly good cpu but expensive package
2    Sage    seemingly good cpu but expensive package
3    IEEE/IET Electronic Library
4    Nature Complete    seemingly good cpu but expensive package
5    Oxford
6    IOP
7    American Chemical Society    seemingly good cpu but expensive package
8    AIP
9    Cambridge UP
10    Emerald Mgmt Plus
11    Royal Society Package S
12    American Physical Society
13    GeoScienceWorld
14    ASME Pkg 2
15    Cold Spring Harbor
16    Optical Society of America
17    SIAM

I'd second the request for Taylor & Francis as the next publisher to be added to Unsub and then Sage.

I think Deb's list is a good one. My only change would be to include all the publishers' titles rather than the smaller packages.

Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric and all,

I agree! I should have cleaned up my subscription list to just name the publishers themselves. =-) This is going to be so helpful to all of us.

Hi All,

From CRKN’s perspective, our general priority would be to include the remaining 3 big commercial publishers: SAGE, Springer Nature, and Taylor & Francis. That said, Heather, do you have an idea as to timeline? For example, if you could add all three by the end of the year, the order wouldn’t matter, but if only one more could be done in 2020, we would probably want it to be SAGE based on our own renewal timeline.

Thanks!

-Jason

Given that Wiley is here, and SpringerNature is promised to be just around the corner, we'd love to see Taylor & Francis and Sage after that. And we would eventually be happy to see all of the publishers called out in Deborah's list addressed eventually, but I think Taylor & Francis and Sage are top of our list after the three you are already addressing (Elsevier, Wiley, SpringerNature).

Thanks!
Ricky
