Math Club - Friday 4/12/2013

Hello all,

The semester is coming to an end fairly soon, and we'll be wrapping things up shortly!

Since we have access to the physics lounge, with a projector and audio system, we may as well use it a few times.
Here's the current plan:

4/12/2013: 5:00p Root Beer Floats and Popcorn + Anime! (Potentially Baccano, open to recommendations)
4/19/2013: 5:00p Pizza and Primer!
4/26/2013: 5:00p open to suggestions. (Maybe we could all go bowling? Who thinks this is a good idea?)
5/3/2013: Elections & end of the semester party!

Hey Ben,

I'm pretty much down for everything. But, keep in mind, if we are watching all of that anime, it will take around 4-5 hours. We might want to just meet up on a later weekend off-campus for a small mini-marathon or something.

Personally, I haven't watched Baccano, so I guess it might be a good choice if not many others have watched it. Some other good short animes we can fall back on are Puella Magi Madoka Magica or Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, but I expect many of us have already watched those.

For the 19th, by Pizza and Primer, what exactly do you mean? Are you suggesting we work on painting the currently-unbuilt-to-my-knowledge Harmonograph or something?

As for the the 26th, we could do some sort of gaming night. There is the option of buying that Wff n' proof game or something, but keep in mind that since you guys missed the end of the funding period and the Spring II funding hearing, it will have to come out of Math Club's account(should be fine, since there was still like $200 left in it). There is also the option of just doing some sort of video gaming night as well. But I'm fine with bowling as well.

Primer is the movie that Zach suggested a while back, which I managed to find on Netflix, so we can definitely watch it.

We might not watch all of Baccano, I figure it's a matter of how much we all really feel like watching.
Any specific anime you want me to bring? I can slap it on an external HDD ^.^

WFF'n'Proof is cheap as is, I wouldn't mind buying it as a donation. Who's in for a game night?

I just received WFF'n'Proof in the mail, so we can try it out next time if anyone is interested~
I'll be bringing pizza to the next meeting (this Friday), so be there or be square =)
