Thank you so much! I have put the date up for review. I am hoping it will be ok.
We will be a mixed group including members from Math Club, ACM and WICSE.
We definitely would love to hear the talk and have the opportunity to ask questions.
I personally am curious about how google organizes its communications worldwide, and hearing about life at google and the success of your programs like google summer of code would be great! I will let you know as soon as I hear back about the date.

Hi Jordan,

Good to hear from you! How about Friday, November 9th? I can handle a group of 20 students -- should be ok.

What are you thinking in terms of an agenda? Here's what a typical student visit looks like for us:

11:30 am - Arrive
12:00 pm - Lunch
12:30 pm - Tour of Google and visit the Google store
1:30 pm - Talk from a Googler (optional)
2:30 pm - Leave

Let me know what you think. There's plenty of room for changes. I'll have to ask around to find someone to give a talk if you're interested in that. Could you provide some more background about your group? That would help me come up with some fun stuff to do!

Jess

Hello Jessica!

Math Club has finally been approved for our Google Trip! We can do a Friday, since you typically do not host tours on the weekends. I was hoping for the 2nd or 3rd week of November. We are looking at a group of about 20 people.

What do you think?

Thank you so much for your help, whatever it is I can get you to make this easy let me know.

Hi Jordan,

Is there a weekday that would work instead of a Saturday? We don't typically host students on weekends.

What do you consider a "large" group? :) I've hosted groups of 30-40 before, which tends to be on the bigger side.

Hi Jessica!

Thank you so much for taking us on! We will be coordinating with the school as soon as the Club Funding Period opens on August 11th.

We will not know if we are approved until September; the trip would be best made in early November. Can we set a tentative date for Saturday November 10th?

I am also considering what we would need to do if our group turns out to be very large. We could do smaller tours if it would be inconsiderate to have a single crowd.

Would it be better to have an upper bound for the group size? I can limit the number of people if needed.
