To extract data from specific columns, you need to locate the rows first and then target the correct column to get the desired information. In Leapwork, this can be achieved by using the "find web element" method and locating the "" tags that represent the table rows.
When working with web automation, a Find Web Element building block is used to find a web element, such as a div, tags, or class in the browser. Find Web Element building block is usually used while iterating through elements.
The "Found element" property contains the individual rows as they are iterated, and we can use this to dive into each row and extract details from the cells. One way to retrieve the text from a column is to connect the "Found element" property to a "Get Web Text" action.
To summarize, we iterate through all the rows and provide the individual rows to the "Get Web Text" action. In the selector for this action, we have simplified the strategy to select the correct cell within the row.
We hope this tutorial provided you with valuable insights into iterating through the list elements, we explored how to query inside individual list elements to retrieve specific details, such as the text inside a particular column.
The Leapwork Automation Platform enables users to build and run automation flows for test automation. The platform is designed to create automated test scripts in a low code environment with minimal test script creation effort. By integrating Leapwork with BrowserStack Automate, you can run Leapwork recorded test scripts on 3000+ real devices and desktop browsers.
Step 3. In the Agent Settings window, enter the details, such as BrowserStack credentials, and OS-Browser/Device combination that you want to use for running your test. The following list shows the mandatory settings that you must configure.
You can test your websites hosted privately using the BrowserStack Local Testing feature. You must enable Local Testing on your local machine, establishing a secure tunnel to test your private websites and other private network configurations.
On BrowserStack, you can run multiple test scripts simultaneously across various browser, device, and OS combinations, this is Parallel Testing. Parallel Testing gives you the same benefits as running a multi-threaded application. Parallel Testing helps to reduce the run time of your test suites, resulting in faster build times and faster releases.
In Leapwork, parallel testing is implemented with the help of a Run Lists. A Run List comprises of automation test flows that run on one or more Schedules. Schedules define when the Run Lists are executed, and the Agents that will be used.
I was allowed to spend some time becoming familiar with the LEAPWORK tool and used it to build flows which automate a web application. LEAPWORK use graphical building blocks that are connected together and parameterised to execute flows through an application. If you are looking for a tool to help you automate, and not be required to write code then LEAPWORK might help.
Learning and evaluating new tools takes a lot of time and LEAPWORK made this overview possible by paying for my time to familiarise myself with the tool and allowing me the freedom to create the overview video without their editorial control.
I created a video below which showcases some of the main concepts and functionality of the tool and showing some lessons learned from using the tool. So you will see me chain building blocks together to automate a Web Application. The aim is to give you some insight into the tool and shortcut the learning process if you choose to evaluate it.
The scheduling can also be used to run a set of flows periodically at different times. Which supports teams to use a Continuous Integration approach without having to formally create a CI infrastructure.
I created a set of re-usable sub flows for each of these actions to make it easier to build up flows in the future, and I built assertion sub-flows to assert on the number of todos in the list, and to make sure that the todos have the text values that I want.

Appium, in contrast, is a free open-source software tool. There is no cost associated with downloading or using Appium for test automation. Being open source, it is maintained by a community of developers and contributors who work collaboratively to improve the software. This makes Appium an accessible choice for individuals, startups, and enterprises looking for a cost-effective solution for their automation needs.
I am not sure if a languague needs adding common names if it has not so many common names.
Maybe those people do not use iNaturalist? I know dutch people want to have their common names to be added: -add-to-inat-free-to-use-list-with-all-19386-official-dutch-species-names/13024
I would use annotated lists so you know the right common name is to the right latin name.
In my opinion i would restrict it to 1-2 names to prevent an babilion waterfall. (Babylonische spraakverwarring)
What we do at s customer that uses Tosca, is to set an extended property named test with a value, and filter on that rather than the id. On elements in repeating widgets like list record and table records we add the list .CurrentRowNumber to the value of the extended property.
The Limited Examination and Appointment Program (LEAP) is a recruitment and hiring program for people with disabilities. Instead of taking the traditional state civil service exam, you can show your knowledge and skills for a position through on-the-job testing.
The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) must certify that you meet the disability requirements to be eligible for a LEAP class exam. You can speak with a counselor at the DOR to find out how to get a LEAP certification.
After you take a LEAP exam for a specific classification, you will be placed on a LEAP hiring list. You can start applying for job openings for that classification. To search for job openings, visit CalCareers and search for that classification.
Once selected for a position, you will first serve a limited-term appointment for no more than one year. Before you start, you will be given the duty statement which explains the duties of the position and what will be evaluated during your limited-term appointment. Your employer will also explain the evaluation standards for the job examination period.
A job examination period for a LEAP-certified class is the same as the probationary period for the standard classification. During this time, your performance will be evaluated at least once every four weeks. The final evaluation will include a recommendation on assigning you to the standard classification. You will not have to serve an additional probationary period once you are assigned to the standard classification.
DescriptionTraining in English?Learning objectivesYou will gain fundamental knowledge of how to use Leapwork for quality assurance, and how it can be used in a work environment, such as to automate regression tests, smoke tests, or RPA (Robotic Process Automation). You will also gain the following benefit from this course:
This course is designed for all testing and development teams that would like to be involved in designing and developing automated test cases using Leapwork. You may also need to make use of RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and thus need some general training in how the tool works. Prior knowledge of automation is not expected.
The course runs for two days, during which the participants will learn to perform automated testing using Leapwork through examples and practical exercises. The course is based on active participant involvement and many hands-on exercises to ensure you can immediately apply the knowledge you gained to your own projects after the end of the course.
Our trainers teach in Danish unless anything else is stated at the course description. We do have most of our course materials in Danish and English, so we are able to offer the course in English, if we have a request.
If you need a course in English but are not looking for an in-house training, please contact us. We do keep waiting / wish lists for courses in English, so when we have enough requests, then we will offer the course as open classroom training.
