Im very glad Slim List is back, but it looks like this new version is way too sensitive. Many times I've swept a task unintentionally off the screen, when I only wanted to bring it to the foreground. So I had to restart that task again.

i got a solution to the problem, just re-installing the one u i home app again from below link allowed me to get the vertical , stack list in task changer in home up, view the below link for more info & follow the instructions to fix any issues in one u i 6.0 update

The Task switcher (aka cmd + tab) shows up on the screen your Dock is on. Your Dock may have moved to your other monitor after you passed your mouse through the primary monitor's dock. This can happen when moving the cursor across displays.

To move the task switcher back to the primary display, simply move the cursor to the bottom of that screen for a few seconds to make the Dock appear. Going forward, the task switcher will appear on that screen, unless the Dock is later invoked at the bottom of the secondary display.

@Bastien_Siebman this is great! What level of Asana are you using? we are debating upgrading to the next level to enable this level of rules (i believe) we currently automate a lot using zapier, but this would really benefit our automation process.

@Liz_Edwards indeed, we use Asana as a full-CRM, also managing invoices and quotes. Each invoice is a task, each quote is a task, with a bunch of custom fields, allowing us to do financial forecast. We are an Asana consulting agency so we try to go as far as possible with Asana. It requires some custom dev, but all in all it works well

Is there any way to change the type of an issue from "story" to "task"? We had a bunch of projects moved from a project management system to Jira. Now we've got all sorts of "epics," "stories," "tasks," etc. Our team is not a software development team and most of these terms are completely meaningless for us. I honestly no idea why we are using Jira for managing IT projects that have nothing to do with software development.

If you go to edit the ticket or click on the issue type on the ticket - it should allow you to change the issue type from "Story" to a " Task". However, if that doesn't allow it that is due to the issue types using two different workflows. You can still make the change but it is a little more involved.

Thanks, I figured out that you can use the Move function to change the issue type without changing the project. It says that it will break the link to the "epic" but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's time consuming to do this for each "story" (I still don't understand what a story is) but it's what I'll do for now.

Thanks, but what is a "ticket?" What is a "card" The article shows how to move something to a different project, but I just want to change it. Can you give me the steps for clicking on an issue called a "story" and changing it to an issue called a "task?"

The way this is set up is that there is a huge project called "IT Operations." It contains "epics" for pretty much every project we've ever started or discussed. Each of these "epics" is linked to a bunch of "stories" or "tasks" or "initiatives" that can be anything from a configuration step to a research idea.

So, start by clicking on the issue type of the issue and see if it will let you change it directly to the issue type you want. If not, then you need to click the 3 dots menu on the right and select Move. On the following screen, change the issue type to the one you want to move to.

The organizational principal I use at home and work is called OHIO: Only Handle It Once. This means that when dealing with routine, mundane tasks, make a decision with how to handle something immediately so that you can get it off your plate and do not have to waste time and energy coming back to it later.

Oftentimes, people with ADHD have trouble with organization skills and task prioritization. OHIO teaches us that we should make a quick decision for tasks that we are able to deal with quickly and immediately in order to efficiently get those tasks off our mind and free up our mental energy for more important things!

And among various time management techniques, the Eisenhower Matrix is hailed as the most successful, with a 100% success rate of individuals feeling their work is under control for at least four days a week.

Botelho reported this week that a draft of his task force's report was being edited, and had originally anticipated the group would present its recommendations to Mayor Sam Sutter by the end of next week. If a meeting can be organized next week, the release would likely be delayed another week.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management, there are seven waste-to-energy facilities in the state: in Haverhill, Agawam, Pittsfield, West Wareham, Millbury, North Andover and Saugus.

Those facilities burn household and commercial solid waste to generate electricity and steam power. MassDEM reports that the facilities burn approximately 38 percent of municipal solid waste across the Commonwealth, reducing trash by 90 percent of its volume and 75 percent of its weight.

Sutter convened the eight-member task force in March, which self-imposed a September deadline. In addition to Botelho, the task force members include co-chairman and City Councilor Michael Miozza, Director of Community Maintenance Kenneth Pacheco, Bristol County District Attorney Chief of Staff Lisa Kaminski, Bristol County Assistant District Attorney Carolyn Morissette, Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Robert Mellion, Coalition for Social Justice Executive Director Deb Fastino, and Junior Paquette, who has worked in the solid waste industry.

The Alternative tab also contains the same visualisation options for the task switcher. However, you can set a different key combination other than Alt+Tab for the Alternatives configuration set. This way, you can simultaneously experience two different groups of task switchers with different combinations.

You can also group the same application icons in the task switcher to keep it simple and crisp. For example, if you have multiple Dolphin file manager instances open, you can select the below option to appear Dolphin icon only once in the task switcher visualisation.

But you might be wondering how to navigate through the same application instances if it appears only once. You can navigate the same applications via Alt+` (default value) in the task switcher. Here are the options you can change as per your need and work.

Click on the Get New Task Switchers [annotation#5 in above image] and select your favourite one. And click Install. After complete installation, come back to the main settings window and apply the newly downloaded visualisation.

Remember, these additional items are user-contributed and may break your current theme in some cases. So use with caution. At any time, you can hit the Reset button to come back to the stock Task Switcher visualisation.

It seems that Samsung has removed a few of the themes that were available in previous iterations, as there are only three options to choose from now. However, you can still customize the look and feel of your app changer, along with being able to swipe between previous apps with gestures.

Task View is a task switcher and virtual desktop system introduced in Windows 10 and is among the first features new to Windows 10. Task View allows a user to quickly locate an open window, quickly hide all windows and show the desktop, and to manage windows across multiple monitors or virtual desktops. Clicking the Task View button on the taskbar or swiping from the left side of the screen displays all open windows and allows users to switch between them, or switch between multiple workspaces. It was first previewed on September 30, 2014, at a Windows 10 press event in downtown San Francisco.[1] A redesigned Task View with support for giving different wallpapers on each desktop has been introduced in Windows 11.

Similar effects are used on other operating systems and programs like X Window System, macOS's Mission Control, GNOME 3, and ChromeOS. However, Microsoft has provided a few similar features of its own:

Windows Vista and Windows 7 provide an additional feature called Windows Flip 3D, which has a broadly similar purpose. Flip 3D allows a user to flip through all open windows with a 3D perspective. A downside to this method is that the front most window covers a significant portion of the other windows. On the other hand, this allows the user to see the contents of the front most window, while this can be difficult in similar applications that show the open windows in a grid, especially if the user has a large number of windows open. Vista's Desktop Window Manager exposes a public API that allows any application to access the same thumbnail representations that Flip3D uses, and so there are a number of third party add-ons that are able to provide this functionality in Vista. A very few third-party applications, such as the Emcee Desktop Organizer, provide organization of similar windows into visual "stacks," or support Windows 8's "Immersive" Apps.
