Well actually, it's not that sketchy - it's extremely legit! It's just that it comes in the same kind of package that sketchy apps sometimes use. For most corporate firewalls and IT policies, it is far easier to blanket-ban all downloads of .exe files than figure out which are legitimate app files developed by respectable developers like us.

If you're not allowed to download either the .exe app or apps from the Store (or, you're not allowed to download .exe files and you're on Windows 7, which doesn't even have Windows Store), then get in touch with us, and CC your IT overlords. We can sort something out!

Use Showcase ST, the Windows Store version. This will open any PDF files linked in your showcase in the default 3rd-party app for your device. In contrast, Showcase XE opens PDFs right there in the Showcase app itself - that is, it doesn't open another application in order to display the PDF.

Some folks love having their PDFs open up in a separate app entirely, and some people hate it. If you have no preference either way, or you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't worry! The recommendation to stick to Showcase XE as the default still stands.

The original Vulkan website was designed for the launch of a cutting edge new API that would, initially, have limited official materials and community content. The old website performed that role admirably, but Vulkan has come a long way and we now have a large and increasing amount of tools, libraries, educational material, and news to showcase that a single page website cannot handle. The new website allows us to gather all these currently disparate internal and community resources in a single, easily navigable place.

Our primary goal with the new vulkan.org site was to place key resources prominently to allow developers to quickly and easily find what they need. With this in mind, each page has buttons in the banner leading straight to the most essential and popular resources. If you need the Vulkan Specification, SDK or Guide you can just jump straight there, no digging needed.

In these days of social distancing, game developers and content creators all over the world are working from home and asking for help using Windows Remote Desktop streaming with the OpenGL tools they use. NVIDIA has created a special tool for GeForce GPUs to accelerate Windows Remote Desktop streaming with GeForce drivers R440 or later. Download and run the executable (nvidiaopenglrdp.exe) from the DesignWorks website as Administrator on the remote Windows PC where your OpenGL application will run. A dialog will confirm that OpenGL acceleration is enabled for Remote Desktop and if a reboot is required.

After missing their original target of transitioning to Intel Gallium3D by default for Mesa 19.3 as the preferred OpenGL Linux driver on Intel graphics hardware, this milestone has now been reached for Mesa 20.0.

The Khronos Group announces the release of the Vulkan 1.2 specification for GPU acceleration. This release integrates 23 proven extensions into the core Vulkan API, bringing significant developer-requested access to new hardware functionality, improved application performance, and enhanced API usability. Multiple GPU vendors have certified conformant implementations, and significant open source tooling is expected during January 2020. Vulkan continues to evolve by listening to developer needs, shipping new functionality as extensions, and then consolidating extensions that receive positive developer feedback into a unified core API specification. Khronos and the Vulkan community will support Vulkan 1.2 in a wide range of open source compilers, tools, and debuggers by the end of January 2020. Driver release updates will be posted on the Vulkan Public Release Tracker.

NVIDIA Nsight Systems 2019.6 is now available for download. This release expands graphics trace on Windows by adding support for Direct3D 11, WDDM CPU+GPU queues, and OpenGL. On Linux, new features include support for CUDA 10.2, simultaneous CLI sessions, DWARF unwind and capture by hotkey.

this will basically open a small "dos like" consolle in which showcase shows all the messages it generates or eventually recieve from outside (externa UIs for example). obviously only if you have take step 1.

Ive had to open SW assmblies in Inventor, then export them to Showcase. Thats the only way i get it to work, and even then, some surfaces on the model dissappear between the inventor to showcase transition.

I downloaded it correctly I put it in the corrent files that goes Batman- Arkham Knight/DLC/365474/Content/BmGame. Then my game opens as usual when i go to showcase then i select the skin mod i just added it crashes and it pops up a window that says:

Anubis is a retired Windows box from Hack the Box that has been labeled as "Insane". I didn't complete this box while it was active on the platform, so this writeup comes from me completing it AFTER other writeups have been released. To put a little spin on it, we'll complete it using SliverC2 rather than standard netcat and Metasploit listeners. I'll go over how to set up Sliver, then use it to beat the box! If you're stuck, want a visual representation, or want to listen to people who are far more experienced, I'd recommend either IppSec's video or 0xdf's blog.

I'm learning Sliver on the go here. Please feel free to reach out if I've done something poorly, if there's a better way to do things, or if I've missed some key information. I've mentioned a few times through this post occasions that I didn't know how to do a specific thing with Sliver compared to Cobalt Strike - If there is a way, then please let me know!

Hold up Toby, what is a C2 first?! C2, or Command and Control, is a term that encompasses the methods employed by attackers to maintain communications with devices they have control over after the initial exploitation. They generally have a "server" set up which sends and receives periodic tasks to the "beacons" which are communicating from the infected hosts. This provides centralized control over a set of compromised devices and they often come packed with features that help to maintain control over the targets. I think you're generally advised to not use C2s when initially getting started with doing labs, or at least, I was. Probably stemming from the disallowance of Metasploit in the OSCP. This is probably good starting out, as you can better understand the "behind the scenes" rather than just point and click. However, they obviously have their place, and you'll encounter them more and more as you progress through your studies and career.

Let's dive into setting up Sliver for use with Hack the Box. I won't be going through setting up your VPN files and everything, I'll assume that reading this, you know how to access the Hack the Box infrastructure and attack your machines.

This suggests there is a valid SSTI occurring with the payload . Going down the payloads in HackTricks looking for similar ones, this one is listed under ASP, which is what we know the server is running.

If you prefer an interactive shell, just type interactive. Obviously, this comes with OPSEC-issues. Join the interactive session with the sessions -i flag and run commands as you would with your beacon but get the response instantly. When you're done, hit close and your original implant will still be running for you to use.
