This is the final word from Grady:

I would like to express my deepest appreciation to all who have volunteered to support this project honoring my father’s long career. No doubt, due to the many responses, you all have felt compelled to give since Dad connected with you on a personal level; either in a rehearsal, his studio, or from the top of the bleachers calling you out in front of the entire marching band. Thank you all! Also, please help me thank Kiara Wolf and Steve Martin as they have helped spread the word to make this project come to fruition. 

Checks will be made out to: the Dr. Mack Retirement Fund
Checks will be mailed to: c/o TJH Law Firm, P.O. Box 3948, Reno, NV 89505
Include in memo: “Reno Wind Symphony” or “UNR Alumni Band"

The P.O. box is a law office in town where checks will be collected and deposited for the Stephenson project. A detailed record will be kept of all contributions including individual names and their respective organization. The DUE DATE for submitting your gift will be February 11, 2014 - Dad’s 63rd birthday.

Since the “buy in” for the project is $500 per organization, a check will be sent to Mr. Stephenson for $1,000 covering each group’s participation in the project. Funds exceeding the $1,000 buy in will be issued as a "Mack McGrannahan Low Brass Scholarship" to be awarded by the University of Nevada, Reno Music Department.
