Concertin the Egg is a painting formerly considered to be a copy of a lost work by Hieronymus Bosch, and which is currently considered to be based on one of his drawings. Max Jakob Friedlnder called it 'an old copy', without specifying another work it was copied from.[1]

The group of singers form the "yolk" of the egg. The eel resembles a form of beer (ale). The scene is reminiscent of the similar Ship of Fools. One of the singers is so intent on his song (pointing towards the book) that he fails to notice that he is being robbed by the lute player.

Modern attribution of the painting (to an as yet anonymous follower of Bosch) was based on an analysis of the music in the open book, which shows notes of the chanson Toutes les nuictz by Thomas Crecquillon from 1549.[2]The work was bought in 1890 for 400 francs by the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille from Morhange, a Parisian art dealer.[1] It was featured with the Dutch title Zangers en musici in een ei in an exhibition in 2008 at the Noordbrabants Museum, 's-Hertogenbosch.

In Cameron's recent blog post about getting comfy with new tech by using your phone for payments and tickets, he mentions that Rick has a tip/trick to save the trouble of scrolling through older email messages to find the QR code in the message the seller sent you -- just take a photo of the QR code and save it with your photos (or file it as you see fit).

Many have different levels of awareness and understanding of how technology works. Save the ticket as a PDF on the phone always and know what folder it is in or just stick to printing a paper copy of the ticket that method has worked longer

When I went to the ballet in Dresden, the ticket was in pkpass format. Google Pay doesn't support the format, not surprising since it's Apple, but I used an app called PassAndroid to save and display the ticket.

Deutsche Bahn in Germany doesn't do that yet (although the tickets are saved in the app and easy to access) but FlixTrain/FlixBus does. BVG in Berlin lets you save U and S-Bahn tickets there. Many hotels offer this now, including Motel One in Germany.

I had a bad experience at the Vatican Museums last month. The area around the entrance was a dead zone for my phone provider. I knew exactly where the email with the QR code was, but I couldn't access it. After several minutes, the guard took me to a tiny office inside - also in the dead zone - where I had to wait 15-20 minutes for the clerk to finish up with other people. Using my last name he found my reservation on their system and printed it out for me. Once inside the museums, the phone worked fine.
