Yume No Naka

I don't understand the meaning of the particles here, plus where the 'together' comes from. Yume no naka is 'inside of my dreams' I suppose, futari would be 'the two of us' and ita the past of iru which would be 'were' but where is the 'together'? What does the yo ne adds here? And de is supposed to be a particle that indicates the place where an action happens, but here is after 'the two of us'?

Kasumi had an older boyfriend named Katsuhiko who was aiming to become an international bike racer, but she was also worried about the existence of the same high 3 Yusaku. Katsuhiko decided to study abroad in the United States, and Kasumi saw him off as Yusaku. Katsuhiko left Kasumi on the farewell saying, ''Two years later, I'll be back to marry you''.
Two years later, Katsuhiko is back as a top-notch rider. There were rumors of love with a famous American talent, but Katsuhiko hadn't forgotten his promise with Kasumi. Kasumi who received the proposal is upset. Kasumi's heart was inclined to Yusaku, but he who wanted to be a cameraman always refrained from Katsuhiko. Yusaku congratulated Kasumi on her marriage, but she said, ''I don't know anything''.
Katsuhiko says he will bet everything on the upcoming race in Japan and told Kasumi, ''If I win, get married with me''. However, he overdoed it, causing an accident and becoming seriously ill. Thinking of Katsuhiko undergoing surgery at the hospital, Kasumi knew the size of his existence. Katsuhiko recovers and Kasumi decides to propose to him.
In March of the new year, the boarding house friends decided their course, and Kasumi just waited for the wedding with Katsuhiko. Yusaku also won a prize in a photo contest that shot Katsuhiko running, and took a step forward as a cameraman. While refraining from the ceremony, Kasumi left a letter to Yusaku, saying ''I wanted to be with you a little longer'', when he returned home. On the day of the ceremony, Yusaku couldn't control his feelings at the church and told Kasumi his love. Katsuhiko said to Kasumi, ''It's up to you to decide'', and Kasumi and Yusaku held hands and left the ceremony.

Departing from the hotel, the road passes by a group of cottages and heads toward Zenzo Pond.
The road passes by large konara oak trees and leads to Yamanaka Pond, which is surrounded by relatively old broadleaf trees that provide a windbreak to the surface of the lake, creating a still water surface and a beautiful scene of fresh greenery in spring and autumn leaves in fall. From the pathway along the pond to the small island connected by a bridge, the contrast between the trees and the water in each season is beautiful, creating a landscape similar to a circular garden.
