Files Downloader Expert is an application that our team discovered on a suspicious website, though the app also has an official site. Upon testing the application, we discovered that it is a browser extension that displays intrusive advertisements. Due to this behavior, we have classified Files Downloader Expert as adware.
While Files Downloader Expert is promoted as a browser extension that enables users to monitor and manage their downloads, we have discovered that it is actually an adware that displays intrusive advertisements when added to a web browser. These ads can lead to potentially harmful websites, which may extract sensitive information, promote rogue applications, and more.
It is therefore recommended that users do not trust ads shown by ad-supported apps like Files Downloader Expert. It is important to mention that clicking such ads may cause unexpected downloads and installations.
Additionally, Files Downloader Expert says it can read and change all data on all websites. It means that this app may be capable of accessing browsing history and other personal information. Also, it may be capable of viewing and modifying any information displayed on any website its users visit.
Adware can also act as a browser hijacker by promoting shady search engines. Usually, browser hijackers change the default search engine, homepage, and new tab page to a questionable search engine. In many cases, users need to remove the browser hijacker to be able to eliminate the fake search engine from the browser's settings.
A web page promoting Files Downloader Expert instructs visitors to update their Chrome browser extension before continuing. Once users complete the provided steps, this application gets added to their web browser.
Also, adware is often distributed through software bundling, a technique where adware is included in the installation package of other (mostly free) software. When users install the intended software, adware gets installed as well.
This happens when users do not pay attention to the installation process and blindly click through without changing the installation settings. Usually, installers containing adware have "Advanced", "Custom", or other settings, or ticked checkboxes. Adware can also be installed through notifications from untrustworthy pages or fake installers.
When downloading applications, always ensure that they are from trustworthy sources, such as official websites and verified stores. It is also advisable to avoid downloading apps with little to no reviews, even if they are hosted on legitimate stores.
Be wary of links and ads on dubious websites, and never allow shady websites to show notifications. It is crucial to check downloaders and installers for unwanted apps before completing downloads and installations. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

There are two ways to update the software on your SkyView system, depending on your existing software version and where you are in the world. Method 1 packages all of the most commonly downloaded files into packages that are available for US and Western Europe systems. Method 2 requires that you download and load multiple files to your SkyView system individually.
The downloads on this page are complete system software upgrades for SkyView. If you are looking for routine monthly airport/aviation/obstacles data, go to the Database Download Page instead.
Changed: To turn off a single axis of autopilot in expert mode, a 2 second press/hold is now required. This reduces the opportunity to accidentally disengage one axis by pushing a mode button that is already engaged.
Fixed: A bug that could cause systems with ACM and many SkyView Network modules on them to not operate properly after upgrade. This is rare and requires an uncommonly large number of SkyView Network Modules.
Fixed: When Twin Engine widgets containing both left/right info have the same value, the right will be superimposed over the left for best visibility and commonality with traditional gauges.
New: Support for twin-engine configurations on a single display page. New widget styles are available that display both engines' information on a single gauge.
Note for existing twin-engine customers: These updated twin-engine monitoring capabilities superscede the legacy capabilities. In software versions before 16.2, each EMS module was tied to a single display, requiring two displays to monitor both engines. In version 16.2 and later, each display page (100%/50%/20%/bottom bar) are configured to display gauges from both engines. Additionally, all displays' pages will be identical. In other words, the display of both engines should be configured on each page layout, and those pages are universal across screen. The ability to display only one engine per dislplay is not supported in 16.2 and beyond. However, legacy twin-engine settings will continue to work as-is until changes are made to EMS settings. Contact Dynon technical support for additional details.
Added: Added: [requires upcoming SV-AP-TRIMAMP Trim Motor Adapter] Trim and autopilots auto-trim annunciations and warnings. If the trim motor is active without recent manual or auto-trim command, TRIM RUNAWAY audible and PFD overlay alerts are presented. If the trim motor doesn't respond to recent manual or auto-trim command, AP TRIM MALFUNCTION audible and system caution message are presented.
Improved: Lycoming and Continental percent power calculations improved. Existing user settings will continue to use the legacy calculations unless they manually update their engine type. The legacy engine calculations are identified as "DEPRECATED" in the ENGINE TYPE in the setup menu.
Added: Autopilot auto-trim pulse duration is now configurable to tailor performance to aircraft and trim motors. Hardware Calibration > Trim Motor Calibration > Motor > Trim Motor Pulse Time.
Improved: SkyView now filters "ghosts" traffic targets that appear in immediate proximity to the aircraft to prevent false traffic advisories. These "ghosts" usually represent your own aircraft. They are most likely to occur in areas of marginal RADAR coverage.
Improved: New Low/High Speed Sensitivity settings for Roll, Pitch, and Yaw autopilot servos to allow the autopilot to take into account airspeed to improve autopilot performance across flight regimes.
Fixed: When autopilot is engaged in airspeed hold mode with an upcoming armed altitude target, transition timing from IAS to ALT mode improved to smoothly capture the target altitude.
Added: New temperature cautions for the 912 iS the engine to indicate that engine coolant temperature should be reduced by increasing idle speed. This feature is not enabled by default, and requires a manual change of the system configuration file to enable.
Improved: Certification support: Autopilot now indicates NO ALT INTCP in expert mode when it will never intercept the altitude preselect when climbing or descending or IAS or VS mode.
Improved: SkyView will now coast SV-ADSB-470/472 traffic targets that have been reported to be in the same 3D position for 2 or more reports. Coasted position is updated once per second and continues for 15 seconds or until fresh data is received, whichever comes first. If fresh data is received. coasting is disabled and the reported position data is used. If 15 seconds elapses with no fresh data, the traffic target is no longer displayed.
Improved: SV-ADSB-472 firmware version 2.4.20 corrects erroneous ADS-B NO RADAR status indications and includes other general performance improvements. This software ships on all New units produced on or after March 2018.
Changed: Engine page widget defaults were changed to force the New thinner gauges and arcs to be used. All Newly displayed widgets will have the thinner look. Customers with existing thicker widgets can change to the thinner style by removing and replacing each widget via the ems layout editor.
