Whatwould happen if the worst of the worst from our favorite reality shows stayed in a house together, battling it out to be the last one standing? E! is putting it to the test with the new series House of Villains, hosted by Joel McHale, where backstabbing, manipulation and scheming run rampant.

Stars from The Bachelor, MTV's The Challenge, Vanderpump Rules, The Apprentice, Survivor and The Bad Girls Club are all bunking in this house of infamous characters. Omarosa, Tiffany Pollard, Jax Taylor and Johnny Bananas are just a few of the contestants in this hot new series airing on E! beginning October 12 at 10 p.m. ET.

Signing up for a live TV plan with access to the E! channel is your best option for viewing House of Villains. Many of these plans also come with a DVR, so if you don't want to stay up past your bedtime to view the series, you can watch it the next day.

The House Watch Program is designed to provide Sugar Land homeowners a means of having their residence checked periodically by an officer when they are away from home on vacation or an extended weekend.

The program is intended to be a deterrent to illegal entry of the residence. It is a good crime prevention tool. The department cannot, however, place homes which are vacant or are subject to be shown by a real estate agent on house watch.

Plans begin at $9.99 a month with ads, which allows users to stream on up to two devices at one time. Ad-free subscriptions are $15.99 a month, which includes the additional ability to download up to 30 titles to watch on the go. The highest tier, which is $19.99 a month, includes the ability to stream on four devices and offers 4K Ultra HD video quality and 100 downloads.

"House of the Dragon" is based on the world created by George R.R. Martin in his "A Song of Ice and Fire" series of fantasy novels. A prequel to "Game of Thrones," the series documents the division and fall of the Targaryen dynasty.

When Season 1 ended in October 2022, war appeared on the horizon for the Seven Kingdoms when the death of King Viserys I (Paddy Considine) left a power vacuum in Westeros and a question as to his chosen successor. As the second season begins, Westeros is on the brink of a bloody civil war with powerful houses being forced to choose sides.

Max also released "dueling trailers" March 21 asking viewers to pick a side by selecting the color corresponding to a specific council: the Green Council of King Aegon or the Black Council of Queen Rhaenyra. Those trailers can be found here.

Like my Cornish grandmother, something about gardening on the coast has always appealed to me. Perhaps it's the challenge of battling the elements, but I think a stronger attraction has to be the opportunity to grow plants that might struggle further north or inland. The Isle of Thanet, jutting out into the English Channel, is surrounded on three sides by the sea. This creates a unique microclimate with higher than average levels of sunshine, very few frosts and low rainfall. This suits many plants from New Zealand, South Africa, California, Tasmania and the Canary Islands that might be considered tender elsewhere. A case in point is the magnificent giant herb Robert (Geranium maderense) that survives four out of five winters here, lighting up the garden with vast domes of pink blossom in April.

Tender evergreens such as agapanthus (Agapanthus africanus) and giant honey flower (Melianthus major) flourish here, as do evergreen trees such as Chatham Island Lancewood (Pseudopanax chathamica) and green olive (Phillyrea latifolia). I am fortunate that my garden is semi-protected on all sides, but when it blows, it really blows. Surrounding buildings create very effective tunnels that accelerate the speed and power of the wind: I have lost a few trees during my time here. Meanwhile, the sea air has a balancing effect, keeping the garden slightly cooler than inland during the summer and reducing the likelihood of frost and snow in winter.

For the Gin & Tonic Garden my original plan was to create a feeling of the Mediterranean using aromatic, drought tolerant plants. What has actually happened is that it's started to become jungly too, although I feel it has a very different, slight more cottagey atmosphere. Plants flower more abundantly here than in the Jungle Garden and the greenhouse provides useful shelter for seedlings, cuttings, succulents and tender plants. The Gin & Tonic Garden is where I like to end the working day with an appropriate drink in my hand. All work and no play makes Dan a dull boy!

The garden is approached down a narrow passageway, which is the only opportunity we have to create any element of surprise or mystery before the whole space is revealed. The vista from the front gate remains important and is terminated by my favourite tree, Lyonothamus floribundus ssp asplenifolius, the Santa Cruz Ironwood. This year it is flowering for the first time; the heads of white, achillea-like flowers are the size of dinner plates. I hope they will hang on for visitors to admire in August. My attempts to keep the passageway clear of pots have been pretty lame. If the garden is the stage, then the slate path acts as the wings where a cast of young plants await their cue. Getting to the front door often involves wading through foliage and getting wet trousers!

There will be refreshments in the garden, but in a town like Broadstairs there are lots of options from fine dining to fish and chips so perhaps combine your visit with a stroll along the seafront and a nice lunch.

There is no car parking immediately outside the house. A carpark immediately off the High Street is your best bet, turn in between Cooke and Co. Estate Agents and The Fireplace Company. On Sunday there is unrestricted parking on some of the surrounding streets. From the station, The Watch House is about a 7 minute walk.
