Hi everyone!

I've been watching the weather and WE ARE ON FOR A SATURDAY HANG!! Since there'll be rain today and tomorrow, it's likely that the field will still be a bit moist, so don't plan on wearing fancy shoes.

I'll provide a sanitizing station (with hand sanitizer and clorox wipes), a couple of yard games (cheap cornhole set & Polish horseshoes), some light snacks (individually wrapped), an assortment of seltzer flavors, and some beer/hard seltzers. I have no clue on how many people to expect, so please feel free to BYO whatever because I can't guarantee that I'll have enough for everyone.

Also, please bring camping chairs + extras if you have them because I only have a few. Also, if you have outdoor games, feel free to bring them!

I'm looking forward to seeing you all in person!

The forecast for Saturday has been teetering between a chance of storms and partly cloudy, but it looks good for a gathering as of now. I'll make a call Friday, but if it looks like it will storm Saturday, we can plan on rescheduling for the following week.

Also, I may not know all of you personally, and it might seem awkward to show up at someone's house that you don't know, but I can guarantee that you will be in great company of like minded colleagues. Lastly, feel free to forward this to anyone in other programs/departments, other trainees, or friends that you want to bring along!

What you need to bring

• Camping chair if you have one (I only have a few)
  
• Bring your own drinks, food, treats, whatever
  
• Lawn games if you have any, like cornhole, ladder toss, kubb etc (I unfortunately have none), balls for sportsing with (if you so desire), or any other outdoor activity you have in mind
  
• Feel free to bring friends, significant others, offspring, whoever
• Depending on the weather, sunscreen if you need it
• Bring a mask so you can go inside to use the bathroom or anything else

Since we'll be outside, I have no mask requirements, but please feel free to keep your mask on if you are more comfortable with it on. I will ask that you mask up to go inside if you need to use the restroom, wash your hands or anything else. And, obviously, let's all do our best to remain disease free and be respectful to others' boundaries!

I live about 15-20 minutes northeast of campus, but unfortunately there isn't a convenient public transportation option, so if you can buddy up with someone that would be great. Very tentative potential DIY t-shirt printing activity

I can't commit to this yet because I'm unsure if I will be able to complete it in time, but I'm working on a silk screen to print your own t-shirts with! The idea would be that you bring your own t-shirt that you'd want the print on, and I can show you how to print the design on it. I'm working on a NACS Methods Seminar logo which will likely be a single color. If I can pull it off in time, I'll send an update with the specifics of what you need to bring. I'm so unsure if I'll be able to pull it off, that I'm hiding this in white text as a secret message:)
