HI Guy, thanks for your offer to help. This paper has stirred up a lot of latent interest of people who connected to me so it is servng its purpose. I think the first thing to do is join the cxx google group.

I normally give a talk at ACCU in Bristol and would have love to talk. But this year I have a conflict due to a keynote at Parallel 2015 in Germany next week, so I am cracking the whip right now to get my slides done before leaving.

Hi Michael

My name is Guy Davidson: I’m the coding manager for Creative Assembly and it’s my job to develop the coding skills of our 50+ programmers on Total War, the game we produce, as well as keep abreast of the language itself, champion our corner of development, and grow and maintain our low level libraries.  I’ve just read paper N4456 and would like to thank you for taking this on and offer my support in any way possible.  If you are at ACCU next week, I will be presenting a paper there offering a post mortem on porting our game to OS X and wrangling a number of compilers along the way.  It would be good to meet.

Best wishes,
Guy Davidson
