anybody know what's going on with these records? I get hits on 1830
and 1840, then when I try to see them, it indicates there are no
matches.

thanks!

Don't know the answer but I've had similar problems searching text in
certain books. People that I know are in the text, but the search
engine returns "not found". Similar problem, though diferent
context. Possibly indicates a current problem with a bug in the
search engine.

Ancestrydotcom posted a note on Twitter this morning - this link goes to the

And, oddly, I don't see that Ancestry has posted this info about the
database problems on the Ancestry Site Comments message board.
http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.ancestry.ancsite/mb.ashx

I had thought that was one of the Boards that staff was able to monitor.
But, perhaps, no staff on weekends?

Hi Diane,

Thanks for all you do. Its very frustrating when you know the information
should be "there" but
receive a negative response. "Squeaky wheel gets the oil"
