Here is a preview of what the book looks like. It is 58 pages long and contains a ton of information for planning your 6-day road trip on the iconic coastal road. It was written in 2017 so some locations may have different hours or no longer be open.

Here is a preview of what the book looks like. This book is not as detailed as the previous but it is updated with the newest itinerary we used for the 2022 road trip and it has a link to a private Google Map with all the stops we did.
In all there are well over 200 hotels listed, complete with several pages of color maps showing the towns where our recommended hotels can be found. There are both alphabetical and geographical indexes, helping you plan your journey. We also include color photos of all the hotels that are our Personal Favorites.
We obviously can't list every one of the thousands of hotels between San Diego and Seattle, but instead we've chosen a cross-section in different price ranges in or near the main places along the PCH. We've included as many historic or unusual hotels as we can, all of which are likely to make your overnight stay memorable in some way. We've mostly avoided chains like Motel-6 and Days Inn, of which there are many along the coast. We've nothing against them and have often stayed on them when on the road, but we figure most people can probably find those places for themselves.

We've given the website, address, and phone number for each hotel we've listed. If you're planning your trip we assume you'll have internet access and can take a look at the hotel's own website. If you're on the road and have this ebook on your laptop, then you'll need the phone number and address in case you don't have an internet connection.
We used the Ring Road travel Guide and the map extensively on our trip to Iceland late July, both to pre-plan where we wanted to go and to see what else was in an area. We also watched all the videos before going. They were excellent and well worth purchasing! Thank you Jeannie!
This guide combined with the map saved us hours and hours or research. It is written in a very clear way and practical way. The rating of all the site helped us optimize our 8 days there. Strongly recommend.
Our family of six spent eight days going around the ring road along with the golden circle and Snaefellskull peninsula. We used the ring road guide and youtube videos extensively to plan our trip and they were a HUGE help. Her star ratings for each attraction were spot-on in my opinion. It made our limited time in Iceland more efficient and planning much easier. Worth every penny.

Cannot recommend the ring road guide book enough. Worth every penny when planning a trip to Iceland and filled with brilliant advise and hidden gems! The interactive ring road map was a huge help, especially in winter when planning around sights, daylight hours and driving time. Highly recommend plus the rental car discount are a big help when planning on a budget! Thank you!

The book is good and clear and is easy reading.
Sometimes some consistency is missing (Davis summer/winter) and as a non native English speaker I do find quite some language mistakes BUT that does not change anything to the amount of good info that is given. The extra info (things different then sights and things like that) tends to be directed more towards American readers.
So would I recommend it? For sure yes. worth every penny. If you discover this before you have been searching and reading on the internet you save yourself a lot of time.
This is seriously the best Travel Guide I ever bought! Everything is just so thought through from Planning to Packing to all the amazing places & recommendations in Restaurants & Tips on Saving. You can really tell how much work this must have been and how much love for this country got into creating it.
It will be our first trip to Iceland on Sept 12th and thanks to this guide we really got a great picture what we have to do and see & how much time we need doing it! This helped so much with the planning. The Roadmap is also very useful, so you can see what Attractions are on the way to your next accommodation & for which ones you have to drive further. Thank you so much for this! 100% recommendation.
Honestly I purchased this book about 2 weeks before the trip. It was perfect. We did the camper van trip around the Ring Road! THIS IS THE ONLY BOOK YOU NEED! She was dead on. I am not a camping type of guy but this book made the trip so much eaiser. Just follow her guidelines and you will have a great Trip. We went the last week in July into August. It was worth every penny!
I purchased this guide for our recent trip to Iceland and it was amazing. It included so much information that made our trip and experiences so much better. I highly recommend this for anyone who will be visiting Iceland.
I just got back from Iceland a couple of days ago and the ebook was extremely helpful in planning my trip. I encountered no major issues with the trip due to the research I did and since Iceland is a little different country using a guide like this one is crucial to planning and enjoyment of this wonderful country. I am going to visit Iceland again (probably in the summer season) and will use this guide and the information included in the guide to plan my next trip.
The ebook is an invaluable preparatory resource for anyone thinking about travelling to Iceland no matter the time of year, and the map was easily the most useful thing we had whilst on the road (other than the car!).

Ha sido de muchsima ayuda el mapa que ha creado Jeannie, haba seguido innumerable perfiles de Instagram de personas que visitan y/o viven en Islandia pero no tenia idea de donde se encontraban, y el haber adquirido este mapa me ha facilitado la vida para planear este importante viaje. Muchos tips acerca de lugares como cascadas, glaciares, cuevas de hielo, de lava, etc., recomendaciones dependiendo la temporada en que visitemos, descripciones de como llegar a lugares en especifico, fotos de lugares, donde hay gasolineras, baos. This guide was so valuable- especially for helping us to narrow down the locations we wanted to visit. Jeannie was spot on when it came to whether a location was worth stopping for or not and how much of a detour it would be. It really took away some of the anxiety as I was planning the trip. We used the guide every day of the trip as well!

After looking for the perfect guide book I found this one. I read through the book quickly the first time. And then in the past two weeks I have gone through this book and planned what I believe to be the perfect vacation.
