Dear Rasika,
Kum. Ranjani Radha impressed with her energetic and classically rich performance, showcasing her promise as a rising talent. She was ably supported by Kum. C.V. Shruti on the violin and Sri. Pavan on the mridangam, making it a wholesome and engaging concert.
Dr. Venkatesh’s exposition on Bala Leelaigal from the Narayaneeyam was so gripping and engaging that the two hours passed unnoticed. With his simple yet powerful style, he brought out the essence of the text, reminding us that while chanting Narayaneeyam is deeply rewarding, true enjoyment comes when each śloka is understood. The session left the audience enriched and eager for tomorrow’s discourse on Kaliya Mardanam.
