Sri Ramana Balachandran is among those young artists in the country who is getting noticed with every performance. Yesterday was one such performance which left the audience wanting more. He is an extremely talented musician and we all have very high expectations from him. His music is chaste, flawless and he handles the veena with ease. His musical sense is outstanding and could be seen in every piece he played, especially the Dhanyasi. He was accompanied by Tumkur Sri Ravishankar on the mridangam who gave excellent support. Sri Sunaad Anoor on the Kanjira was energetic and played with ease. He has been playing very well and is definitely a live wire on stage. A soothing and enjoyable concert it was.
