Dear Rasika,
Smt. Sivasri Skandaprasad presented an experiential concert that was as much about participation as it was about listening. From the very first note, she drew the audience into her musical space, making each rasika feel a part of the journey. The namavalis she rendered were taken up with fervour by the listeners, their voices joining hers in perfect unison, creating an atmosphere steeped in divinity and shared joy.
What sets Smt. Sivasri apart is her ability to live every moment of the music she offers. It is never a performance from a distance — she immerses herself fully, and in doing so, carries the audience along with her. This authenticity, coupled with her engaging presentation, made the evening not just a concert but a deeply enriching experience that lingered long after the final note faded.
She was accompanied beautifully by Sri Gaurav Gadiyar on the harmonium, Sri Adamya on the mridangam, and Master Pradyuma on the tabla, each adding the right flavour and texture, making it a wholesome and satisfying concert. An evening where music, devotion, and togetherness came alive — leaving every rasika with a heart full of joy.
