Sri. Abhishek Raghuram is a truly special artiste — one who not only delivers a memorable concert every single time but also leaves you wondering how it is even possible to sing with such brilliance. His approach to rāgam, neraval, and swaram is unmistakably intuitive and spontaneous, making every moment feel fresh and unpredictable. Yesterday's concert was no exception — a thrilling musical journey from start to finish.
Sri. L. Ramakrishnan on the violin provided remarkable support, matching Abhishek’s energy and creativity with finesse. Sri. Kishore Ramesh on the mridangam was full of vigour, driving the tempo with unwavering energy. Sri. Vyasa Vittala on the kanjira added subtle, well-timed touches that elevated the overall experience.
It was an evening that reminded us why an Abhishek Raghuram concert is always an event to look forward to — brimming with artistry, spontaneity, and joy.
