Dear Rasika,
Sri Sikkil Gurucharan’s concert was a flawless and moving experience — enriching, elegant, and deeply soothing. It was poetry in motion, each note flowing with grace and purpose.
Sri Sanjeev on the violin was in his elements, adding the right impetus and complementing every nuance of the main artist. Sri Arjun Ganesh on the mridangam was superb, embellishing the concert with his fabulous playing and rhythmic precision. Sri Vyasa Vittala on the kanjeera was outstanding, his great tonal quality and unassuming clarity of strokes leaving a lasting impression.
The synergy between the artistes and the sheer artistry on display made it an evening to cherish.
