Dear Lions and Lionesses,

As we come to the end of the year, I am very humbled by your service and dedication. We accomplished a lot this year, despite the disruptions of COVID-19.

First, I am thankful that the impact of COVID has been reduced among us although more challenging for few of us who were impacted.

I am thankful for the professionalism of our executive committee and the scholarship committee for innovating around obstacles.

I am thankful for the growth, maturity and thoughtfulness of the students we support in Nigeria.

This year, we successfully invested funds in Vanguard; and have raised $20000 towards the named scholarships in 2020. 

We are putting final plans in place to name the first scholars and thank our generous donors with actions that will last in their names in perpetuity.

For all of these, and the camaraderie with which you serve our alma mater, I say a big thank you!

Please take tonight off to relax, unplug and reflect.  We thank God for the strength and willingness to serve.

NB. Student scholarship verification is currently in progress. I will give another update on January activities before the year runs out.
